About Us

Empowering Vulnerable Children Through Education & Talent

Founded in 2022 by inspirational digital personality and artist Lukumani Kaweesi (popularly known as Daily Ug), Sweet Kids Foundation was born out of a deeply personal journey. Having faced severe hardships—growing up in poverty in Kagganda village (Masaka), dropping out of school early due to a lack of fees, and surviving life on the streets of Kampala—Lukumani vowed to build a safety net for other forgotten youth.

Today, Sweet Kids Foundation is fully permitted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to operate as a transparent charitable organization. We restore hope, dignity, and equal opportunities to disadvantaged children across Wakiso and Masaka districts. Beyond offering classic humanitarian aid, we utilize a unique, self-reliant approach: we empower young people to discover and develop their artistic gifts in music, dance, drama, and film to build independent, sustainable futures.

Having lived through the brutal realities of dropping out of school and sleeping on the streets, I know exactly what it means to feel entirely forgotten by the world. At Sweet Kids Foundation, we believe that talent is a powerful tool for transformation. We aren't just giving hand-outs; we are teaching children how to unlock their inner potential, become self-reliant, and rewrite their own destinies
